The most mellifluous singer, great human being Dr SPB is on world tour to thank the people for his magnificent 50 years stay in the cinema industry. The world Tour modalities are worked out by his son Charan. On return of world Tour SPB is coming to some of the state capitals of this country to thank the people for support and love extended so far. This will be also with a musical evening from SPB.

Dr SPB completed 50 years of his stay as a playback singer spoke to some of the questions from the media.

·        I do not want fans association or others to honor. It is my duty to thank everyone. Some of the governments and Fans associations have consulted and I expressed my desire.

·        The ‘Sadhane’ of mine is nothing. Janakamma, Jesudasji, Lathaji, Susheelaji are greater personalities.

·        I missed singing to Amitbh Bachchan in my career so far.

·        I have Santrupthi in my life. What else is required?

·        The love and affection I got from Karnataka is much more than any place. Karnataka Priti Bharisalu Sadhya Agtha Illa.

·        On Sri Lakshmi Narasimha there are already two albums in Telugu. On the occasion of 20th May Lakshmi Narasimha Jayanthi I cannot make it in Kannada. Two songs in Kannada are ready. I have to sing eight more. It will happen sometime later.

·        The secret of my life is doing what I have accepted. Things not under my purview, I did not touch.

·        At 70 I am a happy man.

·        I thought of helping my friend Ramamurthy for his Rs.8.5 crore project on Sthamba Lakshmi Narasimha temple. He did not agree for it. Not even musical evening for temple fund.

·        I know Ramamurthy very closely from last 15 years. Leaving all his luxury spent huge money on this temple.

·        The belief and superstitious belief in life is left to one. ‘Pavada’ is there in my friend Ramamurthy life.
